Baking is a family tradition that goes back many generations. Professional bakers abound in our family tree.
Perhaps the greatest inspiration for our baking legacy was Lorraine’s Great-Grandmother, a trailblazer of a woman who not only raised over a dozen children, she ran her own bakery business while doing it!! Children and grandchildren worked for her. Lorraine’s Dad delivered baked goods after school.
And, Lorraine’s Dad learned to bake in his Grandmother’s kitchen. And he passed on the legacy.
And now we share the tradition with you. We may have updated flavours and have access to more exotic ingredients (no vinegar pie here – yes that’s a thing) but one thing remains – the love that goes into our baking is from that family legacy.
