Sable Shortbread offers a large selection of freshly made shortbread Every. Single. Day. We always have at least twelve flavours of shortbread in the bakery case. We always have our Traditional Shortbread in the bakery case and our bakers love bringing back old favourites season after season AND they are constantly coming up with new flavour combinations so you’ll make new discoveries, too. There’s always something familiar and something new to tempt your taste buds. You can come into the store and make your selection.

Shortbread Cookie Cakes
We make cookie cakes for all your special occasions. They come single layer or stacked as a sandwich cookie. We make them round, heart shaped, as numbers and as initials. You can custom order a cookie cake for your next celebration with three days notice.

Pop in or message us to find out what other cookie treats we might have in the bakery case. Our bakers make extra treats when they have time or if they feel inspired to try something new. So you never know what you’re going to find. If we don’t have what you need in the bakery case, any of the items listed below can be special ordered with a few days notice.

Our Sandwich cookie flavours include
Tuxedo – two dark chocolate shortbread cookies sandwiches together with our signature vanilla bean buttercream
Empire – two shortbread cookies sandwiched together with raspberry jam and iced with an almond glaze
Jam – two old fashioned brown sugar cookies sandwiched together with raspberry jam and dusted with icing sugar
Viennese Whirls – two whipped shortbread cookies sandwiched together with raspberry jam and our very own meringue buttercream
Red Velvet – two red velvet shortbread cookies sandwiched together with our very special cheesecake buttercream
Maple – two maple shortbread cookies sandwiched together with maple buttercream
Decorated Shortbread
We make shortbread cookies decorated with royal icing by special order. We try to keep a few cookies in the bakery case but it is best to order ahead. They start at $40/dozen.

Seasonal Treats
Throughout the year, we make special treats for holidays from Valentine’s Day to Christmas. Check out our Social Media feeds for up to date information on our holiday collections. Our Valentine Collection for 2024 is set to drop in late January 2024. Hippity-Hopping along behind will be our 2024 Easter Collection in late March. Your Mom deserves the best and our Best Mom’s day collection ever will launch right around Easter. Christmas Treats
We love Christmas and we started planning our 2023 Christmas menu way back in the summer!! This year we’ll have our homemade fruitcake once again. It sold out so fast the last two years you may have missed it. We’ll be making more this year. Pre-orders are open and pick up is in December. We use only premium ingredients. Did you know that we make our own candied cherries and our candied fruit is free from artificial ingredients.
And our mince tarts will be back again this year! We make our very own filling and age it in Barrelling Tide Rum for months and months.
Fruitcakes have to be baked well in advance of Christmas so they have time to age and mellow before they’re enjoyed. If you are a on Team Fruitcake, watch this space for how to order your cake because quantities will be limited!
