Let’s talk Butter.
We use a lot of butter. In 2021 we used over a ton of butter. 2035 pounds to be exact. That’s a lot of butter!!
Our shortbread is always made with butter (except for a couple of plant-based varieties that we make by special order). Butter is the key to shortbread. And we always choose Canadian butter.
There are those who swear by New Zealand butter or Irish butter but we say it can’t be Real Canadian Shortbread without Real Canadian Butter. We hope you agree.
