Our after Christmas break is almost over and we’ll be back to baking very soon. Our New Year break was longer than expected because just as we were about to head back we got taken down by a virus (fortunately not Covid) – so our break was good/not good.
One of the good parts of our break was that out of the blue (or should I say, out of the “red”) – a puppy came to live with us!! We were not expecting to get a puppy anytime soon. Irish Setter puppies are few and far between at the best of times
We’ve been on waiting lists for years so it was to our great surprise, that out of nowhere we heard about a litter of puppies available in Ontario. The timing was perfect: while we were on break they were ready to go to their forever homes. The breeder was great and in no time at all, Roisin was on a plane and heading home to us. She’ll be visiting the shop very soon and we hope you’ll come and meet her.
We’ll be back to markets in another week or so and we’re looking for Sales Associates to help us with our booths at Farmers Markets, Shows and Craft Fairs.
If you think you’d like to get out and about and help us sell our shortbread, or if you can spare one or two days to take a shift and help us out – we want to hear from you. All our dates will be published on our website and we are keen to have some shortbread lovers help us sell our wares.
DM us your details and we’ll be in touch. And here’s another picture of Rosie just because she is so adorable!!
