Today is the First Day of Spring!!
Looking forward to warmer days, greener grass, birds chirping and flowers blooming.
And not to mention spending more time with family and friends as we cautiously return to normal.
I know we are looking forward to seeing many of you who have been hibernating and seeing many new faces as we all venture out again into a world that is working so hard to pick up where we left off two years ago.
Now that we have survived this far, we really are eager to see our little shop thrive. It’s been a challenging two years, struggling to keep things going, lots of overtime hours, long days spent being the only ones working. We’re almost in the clear – we do need to sell lots and lots of cookies though. That will help us clear up some of the setbacks these two years have caused.
We are so very grateful to all the customers who kept coming back and who kept us going over these last two years.
And now, it’s spring and spring is full of new beginnings. And it is almost Easter – truly a time for renewal. It is a time of hope and true joy.
We’re going to have lots of wonderful cookie flavours coming your way and we’re looking forward to an amazing season this Spring with Easter, Mother’s Day and the return of Apple Blossom coming up.
So many reasons to pop into the Shortbread Shop for a cookie or a sweet or one of our new specialty drinks. Our patio will be back this year with more seating and we are looking forward to sharing our space with you.
