Don’t know about you but I’m kind of glad to see the tail end of February 2023. From the opening weekend cold that brought frozen pipes and lost revenue to the snow days that meant closing up shop and a show weekend without guests, it’s been a slice.

Valentines Day was pretty good but it’s been better, the puppy paid a visit and that was fun, Duncan got sick just in time for his birthday, but we celebrated later that week with excellent steaks from @vesselmeats and a cake from @sable_shortbread. We thought we had found the perfect team member, but it was not to be.

We got a permanent spot at the Saturday Seaport Farmers Market so we’re hoping that will work out for us but without enough staff we can’t be at Wolfville, too.

We picked up some new wholesale accounts that we hope become long term additions. So definitely some good and some not so good. And most definitely we have some of the best, most loyal customers who keep us smiling and support us in so many ways.

Of course buying our baked goods keeps the lights on and food in our bellies but every like, comment and share helps, too. Keep up the good work and we’ll keep on baking. Watch for some fun and exciting news to come in March because #werebranchingout

See you at the Shortbread Shop!!

And that’s the truth
